Hi, I’m Alexis. I am a wedding and elopement photographer based in College Station, Texas who specializes in capturing the raw, real, emotional moments AND designing fun, engaging mini couple shoots during the wedding day. I have an aesthetic eye and love capturing the unique details of each wedding, and most importantly I love advocating for my couples. I am a newlywed myself, and there are several details that didn’t go "according to plan" or match what I was dreaming up on my wedding day (other than marrying my media naranja, of course!). I’ve been in your shoes (or vintage, sparkly heels) and I want to know what’s most important to you so that I can advocate for that happening on your day while you focus on the important part — getting married!
A little more about me...
I've always been a creative and a romantic with a sweet, caring side. I've also wanted to be married for as long as I can remember, but my soulmate didn't come along until later in life. My love story was very long-awaited and prayed for, and yet I am soooo glad I met my husband at just the right time. We wouldn't have been ready for each other sooner, and I wouldn't choose anyone else to live this life with.
Alongside photography, I have really enjoyed working with students with disabilities. Growing up, I didn't always feel seen or loved. As I went to college and started walking in my relationship with Jesus, this turned into compassion and desire to positively impact the lives of those around me. I wanted others to feel seen, loved, and valued. This desire to serve others applies to working with students as well as being an encouraging, helpful presence for my couples on their wedding day.
